monica is a role model to many young pple. i watch the show everytym online coz we don have any channel offering her show in Africa. her music is inspiring and watching her do wat she does and how humble she is rily inspires me. the single Everything is rily gud and i can't stop listening to it. 'Still standing' track med an impact in my life coz i bn thru a lot and almost gave up bt am still here. it jus gives me hope coz i kno am a champion and am going b here to achive my dreams. can't wait 4 the album to come out.....

I heard "Everything" on the radio today and loved it... I'm so glad they made that one of the first singles. I'm a big Monica Fan and wouldn't have cared what she put out first cause i'm still going to buy the CD when it comes out

When is the new about coming out or a single? I have been watching the show and I can't wait. If its anything like the show this album should be classic like a Stephanie Mills album or Luther Vandross.

I believe that Monica's fans will support her new album. I still listen to her first album. Her songs are from experience and that is why people relate to her songs.

I have alway loved Monica and I can't wait for the album to drop. I just heard "Everything". Loved it but I am more excited to hear "Still Standing". With all that is going on in this world. This single is a testimony for a lot of people, especially myself being the wife of an activee duty service member. People are going through so many changes and this song gives encouragement and strength. Do your thang Monica.

In 09 i purchased one CD (Maxwell).....I can't wait till Monic's CD comes out cuz it'll probably be the only one that I purchase in 2010. Times are tuff and buyin music just didn't make the cut in my budget, however I'm a die hard Monica fan and i'm willin to skip a few meals to listen to some good quality/heartfelt music. Keep doin what u're doin and bein who you are Monica much love and respect to you.

After watching the season finale last night....it seems like Monica does everything for her fans which is really nice. I hope the "fans" are appeased with the "Everything" release

I'm talking like I'm not a fan. But trust me, I am - I'm just a fan that believe's you have to produce a product from the voice of the fans (and) from the voice of the pro's. Now it's time to listen to the pro's in your circle Monica.

Here's why I agree with the pro's and feel like whatever you do, drop the "One in a Life Time" single next:

1. It's a "Monica Track" period! You have "patented" this song with your tone, sound and voice quality. This song displays old Monica at it's best. Nobody can do this song like you did it.

2. It's a "turn it up" track. When you hear this song, you just want to turn it up. With "Everything" you might have to turn it down a little Your vocals are perfectly vicious in this piece.

Thirdly, the song has a "love groove" type-of-flare which always translates to a radio hit.

Well that's my 2 cents for the day.

Congratulations Monica! I believe you have another multi-platinum album with this one.

ps: I will buy your album the first week it's released. But the release day/date needs to be clarified for the fans too.

If anyone has a response on this one PLEASE respond. But is "Still Standing" even in the picture for the 1st release? The lyrics,beat and Luda are ridiculously tight. That's a BAM, I'm back, not only a fighter, but a champion type of track. That single would be requested over and over and over again because of the hardships everyone is trying to overcome right now. The"Still Standing" track is like how "Survivor" and "Independent Woman" was to Destiny Child. We keep hearing about "feel good" music. Yeah people want to feel good and dance. But music and lyrics that are empowering, and that could become a musical "anthem" will (deserve) and (demand) the coveted #1 spot. From what I've heard so far there's only one single that has done that in this album - hands down its "Still Standing!"

Hey Y'all,

Word on the street is that "Everything" is one of the singles to be released because of the "word of the fans". I hope y'all know whatcha doing. We the fans are going to buy the album regardless of what singles are released. Right?
Do you really think "Everything" is a track that brings the heat and beat? Don't get me wrong - Monica is fierce with the vocals, and I want to see Monica shut-it ALL down as much as anyone.
But we alone (the fans I mean) don't make a single a top 5. A single has got to move through wider audiences on the radio, it's got to have heat. "Stay or Go" "One in a Lifetime" are all off the chain. Aint nobody rocking them kind of songs like MO. Release one of them 1st to catch people's attention, and then drop a ridiculous ballad.

Well that's my 2 cents.
