new single, "It All Belongs To Me"
Pressure
I've noticed that a lot of excellent artist are falling for the "sex sells" theory. Was you last album cover based on that, and do you think you'll ever have to "sell out" to that theory to be accepted by the targeted audience?
I'm a single mother, 33 yrs old, and I have seen you evolve into a phenomenal woman just as Mary J. Blige. I would like to say for the record, I buy your music because of your talent not based on how much skin you can reveal. I have followed your career since "Miss Thang."
I am honored to be a fan. Please know that I will be PURCHASING your new album the day it hit the stores and ripping the plastic off while I'm in the checkout line.
You are an amazing young woman and mother from what I see. Continue to be blessed!!!

I think that some artist are very tasteful when they portray their sexy side, some artist take things too far and take away what those artist are trying to portray.

I'm not so sure if most of the other artist who go with the sex sells theory actually believe in it or they are just to weak/scared to stand up against it. I find it much more apealing with the subtle hints at sexiness. I find that Monica is apealing to the eye b/c of her natural beauty inside out and that fierce hairstyle is banging.
I think that some artist feel that they have to fall into the "sex sells" theory in order to stay in the game. I have noticed how some female artist changed over the years, it is good to know that every artist does not go down that road. I believe that Monica has not changed.
